Built in the 13th century The Bear Hotel is one of the most historic hotels in England! Owners and visitors have included King Henry VIII (and several of his wives) and Queen Elizabeth I. Here William III received the English Crown from the Commissioners of James II.
Although these days things are a little different at The Bear Hotel, it retains the old with a modern twist! Which ever part of the hotel you are in you can feel the uniqueness and care put into making you feel as important as the Kings and Queens of England.

The hotel has two rooms licenced for Civil Ceremonies: The Brasserie for 60 and the Riverside Suite for 80.
The Brasserie
The Brasserie has room for 60 guests and is in the setting of a luxurious contemporary restuarant.Features include:

- Natural light flooding the area
The Riverside Suite
Overlooking the River Dunn from its own private conservatory and patio, this is the most popular choice for weddings and can seat up to 80 guests.
