sunday fun at the helicopter museum { personal }

It’s my hubby Lee’s birthday later this month where we’ll be heading out to see Night at the Museum 2 (ok so I admit I’m not very good at organising wild parties!). As part of the release of the film UK museums jumped on board and held their very own “night at the museum”, opening in the evening this weekend to encourage new visitors. 

I heard that the Helicopter Museum at Weston Super Mare would be holding an event with flight simulators and I thought this would be an awesome surprise for Lee. He loves playing racing games on the computer so I knew coupling computer simulation with having a go at flying would be very cool. 

Lee is not very good at surprises, and almost refused to go a few times, but fortunately I did manage to drag him there and he was really happy. It was really fun to try out something different - I just have to try and hold him back from buying one of the £2000 flight simulators now!
